Scribefire ROCKS!
Have You Had Your Mozilla-Fix, Today?
FireFox / Mozilla offers over 5,000 add-on’s for FireFox browser users and I can tell you they’re all super. It’s a customization feature that outdoes any other browser you can use and the choices are discretionary – whatever makes your Firefox browser “you”
is what add-on’s are all about.
This post is being made from the add-on, ScribeFire, which I just installed moments ago. Although I’ve just finished setting up ScribeFire’s “blog wizard” with my blog’s secret info, I can tell you already that this is going to be one of my greatest tools/assets to writing. With ease, you just open ScribeFire and write…anytime the spirit moves ya! If you’re online, have only a few minutes to spare (like me usually – between patients) or an idea suddenly pops into your brain and you’ve GOT to get it written down or lose it (but you’re in the middle of something else online) – ScribeFire is for YOU!
Once ScribeFire is hooked into your blog (you can have multiple blogs / websites and choose the one you want to post on), you can add images, videos, inline links – everything you can do with Blogger, WordPress or whatever your blogging platform is.
ScribeFire not only lets you save it as a Note (draft), it will allow you to preview the post live as it will appear on your Blog AND (get this) even monetizes the post because it’s linked into a site called “InLinks” that adds revenue-building ability once you sign up with them! It will even allow you to search for related stuff to what you’re writing about through Zemanta, a 1-stop shop for bloggers wanting to enhance their posts with cool stuff like related content links , videos, audios and clip art. Yes…this add-on works as a WYSIWYG editor right where you’re at; you can bold, italicize, underline, increase / decrease font size, change font color, add quotes, numbered or bulleted lists, choose from rich text or source (html) editing – which is super for those snippets you may want to add – and it also promotes your post by pinging it. The list is just about endless, giving you, the blogger, topnotch control and choices for posting great pieces to your site. What a great FireFox tool!
Add ScribeFire to your FireFox browser, today. If you’re an avid reader/writer in the blogosphere, you’ll love this great add-on from Mozilla.
